Part 2 –Political power systems

The functioning of power systems and the French example

“the fall is not a failure, the failure is to stay where you fell” Socrates

for over 1,700 years, we have fallen into the domination of economic and financial, theocratic, military and police power systems, and even dictatorships…

power system, defined

A system of power is characterized by a group of leaders who make decisions and the rest of the social group who submit to those decisions.

Power systems are shaped by the nature of the minority that rules populations: economic and financial leaders, politicians elected in a representative electoral system, religious leaders who defend a theocracy, the military who have come to power. We do not use the term “democratic system” because the term democracy does not mean anything specific: when people are self-directed at the local and federal levels, we have organizations in networks.

Networked organizations, working

The network organizations described above operate relatively simply: it is based on the principle of subsidiarity, which is a way of developing the skills in the social group to solve the difficulties and define the objectives in a project management capable of responding to our reasons for living.

The monitoring of the actions carried out uses the alliance of opposites in order to verify before and after the decision, that the group does not depart from the project that was decided jointly and that the common interest, sustainable development, are well priority compared to some particular interests.

What surprises us today in this functioning of networked organizations is rather the level of ignorance that we have because the leaders of the systems of power have managed to hide this alternative from us, even though we have just shown it: through their leadership of power systems, they themselves use their networks of alliances to help each other and keep newcomers out of the personal circle of their power.

Leaders of power systems use networked organizations among themselves

This level of ignorance, which is imposed on the group, is the result of centuries of effort by the leaders of the systems of power. While there is no contradiction in the functioning of networked organizations, the functioning of power systems is based on a contradiction: the leaders impose a system on their social group while among them they use the functioning of networks through clans, hermetic circles, hidden networks of influence and financing because they are understood that it is the most appropriate and effective organization to carry out their project of domination of society.

So there is a separation between two ways of behaving, there is a juxtaposition of two cultures and the conditions are in place for the interests of the two groups to diverge and come to a point of contradiction that can feed the social conflicts that are most damaging to the peoples.

In order to lead a system and subject a group to obedience, leaders must show their strength and this is inevitably based on their union, the cohesion of their group of leaders. This union is first and foremost the success of a network, there is no other way to achieve such a result.

This is currently the case in the world government set up by the Anglo-Saxon financial oligarchy. When people see this lie and betrayal of the rulers to subdue the people, the conditions are created for the overthrow of power and social, civil and military conflicts.

Leaders’ relationships in their hidden networks are often characterized as corrupt because they serve to advance special interests at the expense of the public interest. To avoid rising dissent and revolt, we know that leaders must organize a certain level of ignorance and manage bans and taboos on knowledge that are likely to harm their interests. Knowledge of the alternative of networking is the first to be forbidden. So the two evils in power-organized societies are corruption and ignorance. We will have to eliminate them and we will see how in our parts 4 and 5.

Controlling the mobility of citizens in power systems.

The second condition for a successful system is to control the mobility of system members in the social organization.

In networks, members evolve according to their membership in a project. There is a real synarchy in the sense that through this management of competences, a member, a citizen, can take on more and more important responsibilities at group level. Mobility is organized in the operation of a network to obtain the raising of the level of skills, main source of productivity gains.

This mobility is also indispensable in the context of education and training in the use of the two sources of knowledge, in the context of the alliance of opposites to know precisely the opposites, the others, the risks and the threats that will occur elsewhere but will cause losses in our country.

In systems of power, the assignment of a citizen to a position in the hierarchical organization represents a crucial moment in the functioning of the system. Mastery of a system is not possible if members constantly change positions, especially to reach the top of the hierarchy according to their will and want to participate directly in the management of power without respecting the electoral system representative of today’s democracies or respecting the powers of the elites at the top of our societies.

The group of leaders must therefore impose on the rest of the group the belief that they will not be able to be part of the elite if they have not passed the various tests of selection to belong to this elite by demonstrating their perfect submission to the dominant ideology and the interests of the leaders they will be likely to replace one day.

The system of authority defines for each function of the organization an area in which the holder of the function must remain for the time that the leaders have decided. We are therefore subject to residency in a system of power and the first mark of disobedience, disobedience and deviance consists precisely in refusing this residency in order to seek to go elsewhere according to his own will.

Immobility and Conservatism

are therefore inherent in the functioning of a system of power and this force is ultimately self-destructive of the interests of the ruling minority…

To maintain popular subjugation in a system of power, leaders must therefore work hard, continuously, and develop an autocratic style of leadership that relies on manipulation and aggression to keep people passive. The whole difficulty in getting out of this despotic context is that once submission is obtained, it is born out of conformity by playing on people’s fear, we will come to it.

The result is known and was verified around 1750 and since: the standard of living of peoples organized in networks, such as the iroquois peoples of the confederation of five nations, is far higher than that of peoples subject to systems of power, such as the european peoples at that time.

Marx and Engels also had to admit this truth discovered by Benjamin Franklin and the fathers of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America except, as we know, they preferred tactically and opportunistically to use the institutions of the systems of power to establish their communist ideology, mainly the political, economic and social structure of the states. This led to Lenin, who Marx described as a bad student of Marxism, being subjected to the dictatorship of the Soviets and the Soviet Communist Party, i.e., to the maximum and excessive use of the state structure: police, army, justice, education, economic planning, management of civil liberties and public order…

Cut the knot of fables that put us under house arrest in the liberal, neo-liberal capitalist system.

In our third part we will show the historical evolution of the conflict between network organizations and power systems. Here, we will try to break down that knot of fables set up by the leaders of our systems to exercise power according to their interests while making it appear that they exercise that power in the public interest.

The objective of the minority in a system of power is to demonstrate that the interests of leaders can serve as a model for other members of the social group. This is Guizot’s famous phrase: “enrich yourself if you want to vote,” as do the voting rich.

Otherwise, leaders’ interests can also be used to legitimize the very existence of inequality. This is the thesis of the liberal leaders echoed by Nicolas Sarkozy and the proponents of the trickle-down of wealth: “we must preserve the possibility for the rich to become ever richer because it is they who increase wealth and we must first increase wealth before we want to share it.”

The unequal mechanism of the distribution of wealth is not challenged and the existence of the right reserved to the wealthy to take most of the wealth is not denounced, there is only the theory of the trickle-down of wealth, fable and recurrent fiction in capitalism, largely contradicted by the incessant rise in inequality caused precisely by the capitalist system of power which claims to be liberal in order better to hide the enslavement of the populations of which it makes its primary purpose.

On the contrary, the increase in inequality is justified by the adoption of the most virulent neoliberal theories.

We will take a few examples to illustrate what we are saying. In our fourth part, we will show how to develop new networked organizations and it will be time to get into the details of the functioning of the current institutions.

The image of the fable knot is borrowed from the author Pierre Legendre who calls on the poet to slice it.

We quoted his words in our foreword “The choice of civilization”, ch 4 the mission of the poet: “poet have the courage to be cowardly, study industry.” The poet is the only one who can cut the knot of fables that put us under house arrest in systems of power.

Of course, this tale, while defending the same class interests and privileges, has evolved in the story it tells to citizens.

To explain how our system of power works in France, we have distinguished six stages since 1789.

fable 1: the one that made it possible to recover the sacred private property in 1789 to confiscate the property of the means of production and the voting right reserved for the wealthiest. It makes it possible to eliminate the use of common property rights managed by the group as a whole and to minimize the use of collective property managed by representatives of the group.

fable 2: to channel the labor misery and social inequalities caused by the industrial boom, the republican pact from 1860 onwards must allow the state to assume the role of insurer to contain social risk and avoid social explosion.

fable 3: to ensure the progress of peoples, some purest peoples must command others through fascist or nazi or communist systems of power. This step takes into account the shortcomings of our systems of power to push utopias in maximizing dirigisme, optimizing the efficiency of the system, conservatively pursuing autocracy so that the will of the leaders of the systems of power no longer suffers any challenge.

fable 4: to avoid interventions by states with their dangerous ideologies and destructive capacity to go to war, laws and economic models must dominate policy issues to ensure growth and full employment, the only economic outcomes that can meet people’s expectations.

fable 5: given the failures of the first four fables, all that remains is the liberal fable: it is a revival of the first fable adapted from now on to the world economy that generates much stronger competition: individual property rights allow profits to be maximized, but now the fable declares more openly that the rich must first become richer “to increase the size of the pie,” because only after the pie has been greatly expanded does sharing become realistic and socially useful.

This fable therefore covers the negative effects for our Western countries of the relocation of industries and services to countries with low labor costs.

For starters, maximizing the profits of the rich requires eliminating the social spending assigned to states by fables two and three. We will see that the industrial ruling class will constantly deny the State the financial means to develop social security and solidarity. Today the fable says that this social protection is harming our entrepreneurs who can no longer fight against low-labor cost countries.

And to maximize enrichment, financial speculation and industrialization of credits will be used until the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and will continue after as if nothing had happened since 2010, through the public debt of the countries of southern Europe, to allow the Anglo-Saxon financial oligarchy to dictate its speculative will to the states and the European Union in order to eliminate the social acquis to privatize spending on health, security, education and insurance social.

fable 6: The liberal fable, since the mistakes of Rousseau and Adam Smith, has been supplemented by the fable about monetary creation.

It would be the deposits, the savings accumulated by the labor that allow to obtain loans and thus to become ever richer… once these loans are repaid of course.

For the record, we recall that in Part 1, Networks of Life, we have presented the functioning of a full currency and that of Social Rights, a full currency because it does not create debts. Here we are in the presentation of how power systems work.

The fable of the necessary indebtedness of all constitutes since the advent of the power of the financiers over the citizens and lately on the states, the most advanced degree of a fable to develop the voluntary submission of the citizens in the neo-liberal and financial system.

The ignorance of the majority of the citizens on the stakes of this usurpation of the power to create the currency, by commercial banks and central banks has instead the most complete corruption and systematic theft of the fruits of the work of all, by the minority of the leaders of the Anglo-Saxon financial oligarchy.

The recent financial crises and the bursting of speculative bubbles demonstrate the ineptness of these utopias and fables which can no longer hide the secular reality of the domination of the interests of the ruling class in our systems.

At this stage in the evolution of the myths that govern us, it is not enough to take note of the collapse of these myths, it must be noted that the structure always turns on itself, not empty but in the direction of maximizing profits for the dominant minority, increasing inequalities and social tensions.

It is not enough simply to invoke the prevailing conformity that pushes people to continue to accept this domination. We need to see the success of the leaders of our systems: they have managed to obscure the first source of knowledge through repression, extermination, burning pyres in the name of a Jesus Christ abominably trafficked according to their personal interests and then through myths and utopias that sell us happiness, economic growth and the consumption of material goods.

Cutting the fable knot is an indispensable step and it is a work indeed of poets but poets have learned that saying words that others cannot say, is not enough. The poet testifies to the success of his establishment of a dialog of the soul for the soul, he shows the success of the complementarity that he lives between the two sources of knowledge to marry cultures and develop the values of peace and love in our human cultures.

Once the fable knot is removed, the poet who speaks on this website brings the knowledge that has been banned for two thousand years in the West.

“the man of the future is the one who has the longest memory”.

Nietzsche in his “Inactual Considerations”

The memory of an insider extends to infinity as it is nourished by the moments of eternity that he lived outside his carnal body during his encounters with the mysteries of life, here on planet Earth but also beyond the universe that human beings can explore. The most effective opium of the people is ignorance.

The struggle of a poet is to eliminate, to put out of the state of harm, the human beings who organize ignorance to defend their systems of power and their places, their privileges in the hierarchy of these systems.

Following Paul Éluard’s advice, the poet who speaks here chose to live among his brothers, to study management and to practice it among companies known at the world level. Poet, he studied industry! In our fourth part we will show how to set up these new networked organizations, this new art of living.

After this work as a poet, comes the work of the manager to create a new culture as well as a work of human resources managers to remove jobs, create new ones, recruit, train, reconvert those who worked in the systems without necessarily being pleased to make them able to ensure the development of the network organizations in which these people will find much better answers to their reason for living as well as a higher standard of living.

It is about learning how to use both sources of knowledge, to revive this learning after almost two millennia of prohibition laid on the first source by the leaders of civil and especially religious power systems in order to protect the centralism and the despotic character of the institutions created in the service of their personal interests as leaders. That is what we will say in the fourth part.

For the time being, we will describe how these fables, myths and utopias were put in place, their raison d’être and why it is no longer possible to take them into consideration, despite the current conformist who lulls people to sleep so that they cannot themselves cut this knot of fables.

We will then present the evolution of the state and the major social consequence of the functioning of the capitalist system of power: the production of unemployment and the gradual destruction of work.

To conclude this analysis of the functioning of our system of power, we will see that the missions assigned by the leaders of the system of power to the institutions of the educational and training system serve first of all the reproduction of the ruling elites then the development of a mode of social domination based on conservatism and conformism then in recent years on the voluntary submission in the face of the excesses of neo-liberalism and the dictatorship of the financial oligarchy and that of the shareholders who favor the maximization of their short-term gains.

The educational system is used to spread fables about the system of power, and better still, it aims to develop new ignorance by suppressing the teaching of a great deal of knowledge, especially of history, in order to prevent citizens from having a future more in accordance with their interests.

In Part 5, the transition from the abandonment of the systems of power to the development of our life networks, we will present the leaders of the Anglo-Saxon financial oligarchy who believe they have succeeded in setting up a world government at the service of their private interests. We will see who they are, the processes they use to subdue people and how they organize and finance wars to enrich themselves in a phenomenal way with their arms sales and the plundering of the wealth of countries at war.

In Part 2, we begin by presenting the principles and methods used to impose on peoples systems of power, whether economic, military and police, theocratic, tyrannical, or a system of power that cumulates the use of all these forms of domination.
